To get a “semi organized squad play“ as suggest by Kiwiszn

someone, who is not me, should:

1. Choose a layout.
2. Set date and time.
3. Assemble players
a. Make a forum tread.
b. Every player who like to join should post a e.g. „PlayerName, count me in on “.
c. The players should communicate which role they would like to play.

Before the event expect
A lot of arguing about details…

4. Get EUTW.net members to set the layout at specific date & time.
5. Get EUTW.net members to restart the sever just before the event begin.
6. Let the players divide in two groups.
This should be done up front, in order to avoid the problem of uneven teams‘ in the beginning.

7. Choose a player per side as CCO (chief communications officer).
CCO is supposed to be the main getaway for communication to server admin during the event.

8. DON’T use Teamspeak or Discord!
Otherwise every player who joins the server unaware of the event, is excluded, because she/he can’t f****** hear you.
Keep in mind EUTW.net is public AND playable w/o any additional mods or software.

9. Spare me a UAV operator seat, please?!

Sequence of steps is random.

Why I’m not doing all above all by myself? -> No time.

Toughs? Suggestions?

I know this is sort of off-topic, but might help you to get some juices flowing:
Why won't you pick a default time, and try to other a steady group of gamers, which all know when to be on the servers, while everyone is free to actually be there or not.

Pick a timeframe (gather before 20:00 CET ?)
Pick a day of the week,.. promote it and stick to it (as in try to be there for extended period of time every week).

Example:
'EUTW Friday - Fightnight'
Every Friday @ 19:00
EUTW Server

'EUTW End the Weekend'
Every Saturday @ 19:00
EUTW Server

'EUTW Murder Mondays'
Every Monday @ 19:00
EUTW Server

You will get a sense of who is reliable and available and start to team up.
If you gather a steady enough group, the rest will go easier and the sky is the limit?

Most important is to poll for a(ny) preferred day of the week & a preferred start time (early enough to have time to fight, late enough so that people are available en mass.

can you , admins, also play together with other players ? you can see all problems only in game.

@Grenadier please try to stay on topic: it is about squad play / organization initiatives.
Answer (me personal): Lost all game time in pushing the new rotation (which I believe has priority over me playing atm). But yes, if I could I would try to also join such an event or align to default times.

I'm basically in for such ideas but there is a but or more:

1) event should be locked to inexperienced and/or not comunicative players
2) no 'one life' matches. I don't wanna wait three weeks to play 3 mins long.
3) It's time to replace Critical Hit with a shorter revive time (within 60 sec ) once for ever to have squad teamplay fun back!

I'm sure I'm speaking for most of the community memberes, expecially the ones who haven't posted anything here 'till today.

Otherwise I will add 'another what-the-fuck in the wall' and join anyway.... :banghead:

4) squad limit must rise to 15 or totally disabled.

It's time to replace Critical Hit

So incase part of your squad survives you want to revive everybody and continue in full strength no matter you got a headshot. I don't know whether that makes squad play too strong. No danger element anymore incase you are more people than the enemy. Just run in shooting. Do you disagree?
