[new layout Malden] South East

Layout:South East
Author: Esfumato
Faction 1: blufor
Faction 2: opfor

Description:
After the other layouts I finish this one. More or less a combination of the others, 1 path to capture the mountains and second path to capture the south coast. 1500 meters more or less between each sector. This time hellicopter transport is worth.

Lets see if the concept is fun. :popblood:

Changelog:

Repositioned/aligned some objects on both airfields
Removed HQ boatshops ( boatshops which are not in the HQ area, cannot be teleported to, so the distances also cannot be balanced here correctly)
Kept the boatshops connected to flags (potentially good naval fight at those 3 objectives) and moved the boat service points a lot closer to them.
Moved Monte's boatshop to the southern part, so the distances (between parent objective and Baie du Nain) are more balanced.
Simple object: coils, stack of pallets,

Eperon: equalized concrete wall heights, fixed map whiteboard position inside cargo HQ, hidden the bushes inside buildings

Forward base: equalized concrete wall heights, moved cargo HQ a bit higher as it was clipping into the ground a bit and added grass cutter beneath it.

Defensive post: equalized concrete wall heights, oriented bunker to sea normal, moved cargo HQ higher as it was clipping into a small rock

Finally tested.

By the way... how did you hide the bushes inside the buildings?

Creating an empty helipad with this init:

Code: Select all

if !(isServer) exitwith {};{_x hideObjectGlobal true; _x setdamage 1} foreach nearestTerrainObjects [getpos this, ["bush"], 10]; deleteVehicle this

Hides all the bushes in 10 meters radius and also sets damage to full (hidden bushes still had sound when you walked past, so I needed to set the damage to 1).

Bluefor Abusing CSAT in this match. with plenty of everything. even there are some great hellicopter deploying soldiers that ended in capturing sectors.

Lower left base is absolutely bullocks.

Equipment and buildings clipping all over the place and _way_ too less room to land a helicopter (esp. a Kajman with a broken tailrotor).

Please reverify the placing and fix it.

Thanks and cheers

Edit: The new equipment storage is barely accessible in this base.

You haven't used the latest version, so I moved it on the latest one. Uploaded.
