Re: Note to Nyles

Oh yeah, do you remember the past? EUTW wasn't always like this, it has become like this under current management.

Note to Nyles

Reaction to Nyles We clearly communicated this to you as you joined: The whole thing depends on GiPPO's time how much he can commit. EUTW has been in maintenance mode for the last 1 1/2 years, focusing on keeping the servers up and running and doing necessary work around that while donations are co...

The EUTW used force to kick me out!

The EUTW used force to kick me out! Not they didn't, I decided to stop myself, it is called CLICKBAIT. @GIPPO. The force used: slow death by lack of progress, the kick was in the metaphorical teeth and out I went on my own. [in reply to, but elsewise off topic: WARNING: Make sure you have everythin...

Re: WARNING: Make sure you have everything polished or else...

As the time & energy required to push things forward for EUTW is for me out of balance,
I hereby resign for being an EUTW admin.

Good luck moving forward.

Re: [new layout] Selakano Fury

The layout connections have changed now as well as the addition of an objective in the center of the layout (reflected in the first post).
Besides this the objectives / object placement has had a lot of changes (no images).

Re: WARNING: Make sure you have everything polished or else...

Message received, dont waste my time actually working on anything because you wont approve or implement anything that wasn't made by you because you're an egomaniac, got it. By the way my layout was worked on by Gippo, an actual EUTW member, when it was first drafted. You're not only belittling my ...

Re: WARNING: Make sure you have everything polished or else...

To make clear why this thread: First and foremost, EUTW members are all volunteers . Every minute spend on your layout, could have been spend on something else, let's say actually enjoying the layouts on the server. ;) And while there is no need for your layout, as there are sufficient layouts to go...

Re: Share your Tips with Newcomers and old Vets!

Tanks and attack helicopters can carry a lot of destroying capability with them and have relative fast movement and/or great defensive means of protection (movement/armor/range). Imagine a round when you have 6+ helicopters flying around, there won't be an MHQ around to destroy, as the opponent team...

First impression: https://imgur.com/82puHQJ.jpg Most of all: object states were set, many objects were realigned with the ground and various other bigger and minor tweaks. The result so far: Few tweaks, most important the removal of 1 objective in the middle. https://imgur.com/zZHQdbI.jpg Added some...

Re: WARNING: Make sure you have everything polished or else...

So you want to make or already have made the most perfect layout you can think of and now what? Look at it again, and ask yourself some questions: - Is it a layout that actually is fitting in the rotation? (regular/lite/island/region/style) - Why is your layout better then what already exists? - Doe...

Re: [new layout Altis] Parokalos_Arrow (Lite)

After some further tweaking and the removal of 1 objective (due to the spawn distance around objectives, the center 4 objectives were too close, hence one of the middle two is removed and the other remaining objective is relocated to the center). It believe this is a great concept, let's hope it wil...

WARNING: Make sure you have everything polished or else...

Most layouts submitted by the community are interesting at best, some are very promising at first glance, but NEVER, not even once, have I opened a submitted layout that met all the guidelines and rules . If you want to submit a layout: make sure you have everything spot on, dotted all your i 's and...

Re: [new layout Altis] Parokalos_Arrow (Lite)

I am checking your layout atm, so you do not need to fix anything anymore, but as general feedback: Disabling simulation only needs to be done on interactive objects (so objects with animations like interactive doors or a gate that can open, etc.) and objects that can be moved (physics), like chairs...

1] I understand your logic, to which I agree, but: The base on the Salt Lake also has a negative trait due to the open view area it is; the traffic either has to go over the North East OR it has to travel over a plain open area, while there are hills in the North overlooking with countermeasures. De...

Re: [Guide] Some common mistakes/issues

Often objects are placed with little or no care. IF you do not take the afford of placing EACH AND EVERY OBJECT with a close eye to detail, your layout will be IGNORED. As it costs a lot of time checking someone else's work, we require and expect you to do what ever you can to have everything spot o...

Re: [new layout Altis] Panochori_Arrow (Lite)

Very interesting.... To start with the worry: Connecting 2 decent sized villages/cities to become 1 big city may be overstepping for the balance (micro-stuttering and rubber-banding are almost an guarantee). It already gave a screen freeze on the editor for me when I did load it (on a EVO SSD, 1080 ...

Re: [NEW LAYOUT] Terminal Terminator

True, but to counter this has the East base the 'Energy' objective, which has large towers, also overlooking the area, but closer to the terminal, so providing a more close overview then 'Camp' has. And the East base has mountains in between 'Bayview' and 'Checkpoint Gamma', providing a field overvi...

Re: [NEW LAYOUT] Terminal Terminator

Camp and Telos are indeed very different, the 2 opposites of the layout: Camp = High Hill with military camp (but has some spawn cover around it, various presence wrecks). Telos = Village, so a lot of dense close combat, a lot of cover and approaches. So I expect Telos to be easier to cap, yet Camp ...

Re: MHQs going slow? [Possible FIX]

It is possible that the (front) tires are stuck in the ground, if you have an object collision, the tires might come loose as the vehicle took the collision with the object into account, recalculating the tire position, hence the tires may be freed from being under the ground.

Physics galore.
